Parenting practices are influenced not only by present circumstances but also by unresolved past experiences. Unmanaged emotional experiences may contribute to the intergenerational transmission of trauma and affect the quality of parent–child relationships. This community service program aimed to increase parents’ understanding and awareness of the influence of past experiences on parenting patterns and to strengthen their ability to implement healthier and more reflective parenting practices. The program was conducted at SD Tahfizh Aisyiyah Bireuen and involved 100 parents as participants. A psychoeducational approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires administered before and after the intervention and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 2.90 to 3.82, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant improvement after the intervention. The program enhanced parental awareness, encouraged self-reflection, and strengthened positive parenting practices. However, follow-up efforts are needed to ensure the sustainability of behavioral changes in parenting.
