This community service activities is a parent assistance program on parenting and children’s education at SD Muhammadiyah 15 Wiyung Surabaya. The activity was grounded in the need to strengthen parents’ capacity to recognize children’s learning potential and to provide home learning support that is adaptive, positive, and collaborative with the school. The program was implemented offline on June 14,2025, involving parents or guardians, teachers, and lecturers from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya. The method consisted of student potential mapping, a parenting class, discussion, and parent counseling sessions. The materials focused on the role of parents in caregiving and education, characteristics of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning preferences, and practical strategies for assisting children at home. The activity resulted in improved parental understanding of the importance of responsive parenting, learning support adjusted to children’s characteristics, and parent-teacher collaboration. The program also produced a practical assistance module that can be used as a guide for parents in accompanying children’s learning processes at home.
