Author Guidelines

STRUCTURE OF THE MANUSCRIPT

(Fully aligned with Template EKOBISMAK 2025)

 

1. Title

  • Concise, specific to economics, business, management, or accounting.

  • Maximum 14 words, informative.

  • Times New Roman 14, Bold, centered.

  • Capitalization: Only first word and proper nouns.

 

2. Author’s Names and Institutions

  • Written without academic titles (e.g., S.E., M.M., Dr., etc.).

  • Bold, TNR 11.

  • Affiliation under each name, TNR 11.

  • One corresponding author must be indicated (email required).

  • During submission, the manuscript must NOT contain author names in the main file (blind review).

 

3. Abstract and Keywords

  • Written in English.

  • Single paragraph, maximum 200 words, TNR 10.

  • Must include:

    • Background of the economic/business problem

    • Research purpose

    • Method (qualitative/quantitative/mixed)

    • Main findings

    • Conclusion

  • Keywords: 3–5 terms, alphabetically ordered.

 

4. Article History

(To be completed by editors; TNR 10)

  • Received

  • Revised

  • Accepted

  • Published

  • APA Style Citation (added by editors)

 

5. INTRODUCTION (20% of total manuscript)

TNR 11, with first-line indent.

Contains:

  • Background and context of economic/business/management/accounting issues

  • Research gap

  • Recent theories and empirical studies (last 8–10 years recommended)

  • Purpose of the study

  • Expected contribution or novelty to the field

Avoid overly general background; highlight measurable issues with data if possible.

 

6. METHOD (10–15% of manuscript)

TNR 11.

Must clearly explain:

  • Research approach (quantitative, qualitative, experimental, case study, SLR, etc.)

  • Population and sample or data sources (financial reports, surveys, interviews, etc.)

  • Instruments used (questionnaire scales, interview guides, secondary data sets)

  • Data collection procedures

  • Data analysis (e.g., regression, SEM-PLS, descriptive statistics, NVivo, thematic analysis)

  • Validity/reliability tests (if quantitative)

  • Trustworthiness criteria (if qualitative)

 

7. FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION (minimum 60% of manuscript)

7.1 Findings

  • Results may use:

    • Tables

    • Figures

    • Graphs

    • Models

Rules for tables:

  • Only horizontal lines

  • Numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Table 2...)

  • Title above the table

  • Use TNR 10 if space adjustment needed

  • Notes in TNR 9

Rules for figures:

  • High quality and centered

  • Title below figure

  • Sequential numbering (Figure 1, Figure 2...)

Narrative explanation should not repeat numbers already displayed in tables or graphs.

 

7.2 Discussion

Should include:

  • Interpretation of findings

  • Comparison with previous research (must cite properly)

  • Linkage with theoretical frameworks

  • Practical or managerial implications

  • Limitations

  • Future research directions

Citation examples (APA 7):

  • One author: (Rahman, 2022)

  • Two authors: (Siregar & Tambunan, 2021)

  • Three or more authors: (Putra et al., 2023)

Direct quotes:

  • < 40 words → “...”

  • ≥ 40 words → block quotation (0.5 inch indent)

 

8. CONCLUSION

Not a repetition of the findings.

Must include:

  • Core insights

  • Interpretation based on study objectives

  • Contribution to economics/business/management/accounting fields

  • Recommendations for future research or practice

 

9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Optional but recommended.

Short appreciation to:

  • Funding institution (if any)

  • Universities involved

  • Individuals who contributed to data access or technical support

Ensure permission before naming individuals or organizations.

 

10. REFERENCES

Must follow APA 7th Edition.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 25 references

  • At least 80% journal articles, preferably Scopus or reputable national journals

  • References should be recent (last 8–10 years)

  • Include DOI or URL when available

  • Book references should not exceed 20%

References must match in-text citations exactly.

  • Paper size: A4

  • Single-line spacing

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Length: 12–15 pages (5000–8000 words)

Margins

  • Top: 1.5 cm

  • Bottom: 0.8 cm

  • Left: 2 cm

  • Right: 2 cm

Paragraph

  • First-line indent: 5–7 characters (0.75 cm)

Possible outcomes:

a. Accepted without revision
b. Accepted with minor revision
c. Accepted with major revision
d. Rejected
